Belmont Court

Highbury, North London

A new bespoke kitchen in Highbury, North London. Due to the narrow footprint, which the client wished to retain, there was only space for one row of units in the existing layout. We achieved a whole extra run of units, in comparison to the old kitchen, by embedding the units into the wall between the living room and kitchen – so that half the units also doubled up as a piece of living room furniture facing the living space. We also included a whole new run of top units which form the main facade and which extend up to the 3.4m ceilings. Further building works included new flooring, extending the ceiling height, and new lighting throughout. The materials for the bespoke kitchen were white Corian, a matt grey factory spray finish, back painted glass, and birch faced plywood.
