Gibson Gardens

Measuring a miniscule 3.7 sqm, and with no potential to extend, this kitchen in the listed tenement building at Gibson Gardens, Stoke Newington was perhaps the smallest project with which we have been involved. It was a real challenge to meet the client’s brief and squeeze in a fully functioning kitchen into such a small space. Solutions included folding worktops, peg board back splash, piano hinged doors and extensive shelving to make use of the high ceilings. Birch Plywood has been used for all of the cabinetry, the worktop is white formica laminated ply, and the backsplash, shelf brackets, rails and appliances are all stainless steel.
